Lady Gaga – Story of “Bad Romance”
American singer Lady Gaga released a single titled “Bad Romance” as the lead single from her third EP in 2009. This song was written and produced by Lady Gaga and RedOne Khayat. “Bad Romance” explores Gaga’s attraction to people with whom romance never works, her preference for lonely relationships, and the paranoia she experienced while on tour. The single’s cover art was released soon after the single’s demo was leaked to the public via an illegal demo leak. Late in 2009, Gaga exhibited the single’s final product at the Alexander McQueen show at the Paris Fashion Week. Its musical composition includes a spoken bridge, a full-throated chorus and sung lyrics about falling in love with one’s best friend. In addition to elements of German-esque house and techno, the song incorporates music from the 1980s and 1990s. Gaga called the song an experimental pop record. A part of the chorus (“I want your love and I want your revenge”) is sung in French during the bridge.

According to Rolling Stone’s updated list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, it ranks 482 out of 500. “Bad Romance” peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, and has been certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as 11-times platinum, having sold 5.9 million digital downloads as of February 2019. Video Lady Gaga
Gaga appears in a surreal white bathhouse in the accompanying music video for “Bad Romance.” After being kidnapped by a group of supermodels, she is drugged and sold to the Russian mafia for sexual slavery. In the end, Gaga burns alive the man who bought her. Critics praised the risqué and symbolic nature of the plot, as well as its superb artwork and vivid imagery. According to Billboard, it was the best music video of the 21st century. Gaga won seven of the ten MTV VMA awards, including Video of the Year, at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. It has been performed by Gaga on a variety of television shows, including The Jay Leno Show, Saturday Night Live, the American Music Awards, her concerts and residency shows, and at the Super Bowl LI halftime show.
Darias Version
The video of Daria’s version of “Bad Romance” marks her first attempt at producing and publishing a Band video. Because the location allowed the band to play together, no separate recordings were necessary. Vocally, this is the best of Daria so far. Thanks to the excellent editing work in the studio, the band is also great. Unfortunately, the band does not exist in this form anymore. There is no comparison between the current band’s live performance and the very well-produced Clips’. When performing live, the tuning of the instruments is very bad. (Live “Vile Vendetta” – Kiss – I Was Made For Lovin’ You | “Vile Vendetta” – Guns N’ Roses – Welcome To The Jungle) In addition, everyone wants to be the loudest and best. As a result, Daria’s voice is hard to hear. She screams more than she sings. Therefore, it would be better to watch the videos. Like this one. One of my favorite songs. Even if Daria doesn’t like her anymore.
